Participants will be provided with training and assessment to gain the competencies to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (EWP) where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more, in accordance with all relevant legislation.
Note: Competence in this unit does not in itself result in a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) to operate this plant.

Description | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to plan, prepare for, perform, and pack up EWP operations. Boom-type EWP means a telescoping, hinged, or articulated device used to support a platform to be elevated. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to apply for a High-Risk Work Licence (WP). |
