COURSE

Conduct civil construction excavator operations

This course provides candidates with the skills, knowledge and a nationally recognised qualification to operate an excavator within civil construction sites. This qualification is also often required by those working in site-based roles within the Construction, Transport, Mining and Agricultural industries.

An excavator is heavy construction equipment that consists of a boom, dipper bucket and cab which sits on a rotating platform. The rotating platform sits atop of the undercarriage with track and wheels.

Load shifting equipment (except for forklift) no longer require a licence, however operators must still demonstrate competency and this course will provide this competency.
