This course provides candidates with the skills, knowledge and a nationally recognised qualification to operate a backhoe/loader within civil construction. This is also a popular qualification for those working in site-based roles within transportation, mining or agricultural industries.
A backhoe/loader (also known as a loader backhoe or digger) is a heavy equipment vehicle which is self-propelled with a front mounted bucket and backhoe attachment mounted on the rear.
Load shifting equipment (except for forklift) no longer require a licence, however operators must still demonstrate competency and this course will provide this competency.
